Hey there! I just read about the recent suspensions in the AHL, and it really got me thinking about the importance of player discipline in hockey. Pierrick Dubé's five-game suspension for physical abuse of an official is a serious matter. It’s crucial for the integrity of the game that players respect the officials, as they play a vital role in maintaining order on the ice.

On the other hand, Nikita Novikov's one-game suspension for cross-checking also highlights how the league is trying to crack down on dangerous plays. It’s a tough balance because we all love the physicality of hockey, but we need to ensure that players are safe and that the game remains fair.

What do you think about the way the AHL is handling these situations? Do you believe the suspensions are enough, or should they be stricter? I'm all for keeping the game intense, but player safety has to come first!
