Hey there, fellow hockey enthusiast! The New Jersey Devils are in quite a pickle with the injuries to Curtis Lazar and Nathan Bastian. It's always tough when key players go down, especially when they're such integral parts of the team's energy and physical play. I think the Devils have some interesting options to consider.

Personally, I think going for a trade or signing an unrestricted free agent might be the best move. Nico Sturm from the Sharks seems like a perfect fit. His faceoff skills and physical presence would be a great addition to the Devils' fourth line. Plus, his experience with a Stanley Cup-winning team could bring some valuable insights to the locker room.

Kevin LaBanc is another intriguing option. His familiarity with the Devils' system from his PTO stint could make for a smooth transition. And let's not forget about Cal Clutterbuck. If he's in shape and ready to go, his hard-hitting style could really fill the void left by Lazar and Bastian.

What do you think? Should the Devils look internally, or is it time to make a move in the market? Let's chat about it!
