NHL Referee Injured in Collision During Game

Hey there! Did you catch the game between the Avalanche and the Flyers? It was intense! I was really worried when I saw that referee Mitch Dunning had to be stretchered off after that collision with Josh Manson. It’s always tough to see anyone get hurt on the ice, especially someone who has played the game at a high level like Dunning.
On a brighter note, Cale Makar was phenomenal, scoring two goals and leading the Avs to a 3-2 victory. He’s really proving to be a key player for Colorado this season. I think he’s definitely in the conversation for the Norris Trophy if he keeps this up.
What do you think about the officiating in the NHL? It seems like they have a tough job, and incidents like this just highlight how dangerous the game can be. I hope Dunning is okay and can get back to officiating soon!
