Hey there! I just read that article about Stuart Skinner and the Oilers' goaltending situation, and I have to say, I completely agree with the points made. Trading Skinner right now would be a huge mistake.

First off, he's shown he can bounce back from a rough start. Remember last season when he was on fire during that winning streak? That kind of potential is hard to find, especially in a goalie. Plus, his cap hit is incredibly manageable, which is crucial for a team like the Oilers that has some hefty contracts to juggle.

And let's not forget about the bigger issues on the team. The Oilers need to focus on solidifying their defense before making any drastic moves in goal. A top-four defenseman should be the priority, not a new goalie who might not even perform better than Skinner.

Goalies can be so unpredictable, and the last thing the Oilers need is to gamble on a new netminder who might not fit in. Skinner has already proven he can handle the pressure in Edmonton, and with the right support, he could really shine again.

What do you think? Do you see any other options for the Oilers, or do you think they should stick with Skinner for now?
